Paris je t'aime

Best surprise present ever! For my 30th birthday my romantic husband surprised me with a weekend away to Paris!
I visited Paris when I was 13 years old, once with my family then again with friends, we climbed Notre dame, fought with my three little brothers down the Champs-Élysées, moaned about having family group photos taken at the eiffel tower and wanted to spend the whole time in any fast food restaurant much to my parents horror! Such a beautiful city was wasted on teenagers!
However through out my twenties I have been keen to go back and explore the city, so was thrilled when I found out that we would be spending the weekend in Paris.
The first stop on our three day adventure was to go see the fantastic Moulin Rouge since its one of our favourite movies...no green fairies to be found ;)
Then a walk up to Montmartre, over the next two days we visited the Catacombs, Le Puces, the eiffel tower, Love lock bridge ect.
I adore this city, its stunning architecture, the fashions, the history, there is so much to see and do and i can see why it is called one of the most romantic cities in the world.

Felicity & Tom

22nd February 2014 - Auchanrannie Hotel - Isle of Arran

I love weddings, I was brought up on ALOT of disney as a child ...I blame this for my belief that everyone will have a happily ever after. Therefore when I was asked to photograph my childhood friend Felictys wedding over on Arran I was so flattered and jumped at the chance.

I have known Felicity since primary school and through out high school we remained friends with a small group of close girls. I have been lucky enough to attend each of the girls weddings, which made it all the more emotional :) (theres a bonus of holding a camera infront of your face sometimes, my eyes watered up when the final touch of her veil went on, she made such a stunning bride).

Felicity and Tom met at St Andrews University, after their studies they moved to Arran where they have opened and are running a successful cafe. They have also been blessed with the arrival of the adorable Lucy who had everyones attention on the day!
The day reflected these two as a couple perfectly, relaxed and fun, with small personal touches such as the Arran cheese favours, the bright and fun coloured bouquets. The guests had come from all over Arran and some as far as London to celebrate the day.

Even the wild wet scottish weather could not dampen this day, from the wonderful friendly atmosphere and fun loving guests, to the classic choice of outfits of the bridal party, the heartfelt speeches and even some spontaneous songs on a recorder! This wedding was fun from beginning to end.

Thank you for having us as part of your special day and we wish you all the luck and happiness in married life.
